Maureen Doran, RD, LD
Maureen Doran is a registered, licensed dietitian and national consultant in nutrition and health promotion. With over 25 years experience in nutrition, Maureen began her career counseling patients in clinical settings. She went on to work with major food companies, restaurants and supermarkets where she created branded nutrition strategies that achieved return on investment.
Maureen is co-author of Betty Crocker's Diabetes Cookbook (Wiley Publisher, 2003). This credible resource for diabetes is Betty Crocker's best selling health-focused cookbook and has sold 100,000 copies to date.
Maureen is also certified by the American Dietetic Association in Weight Management and maintains a clinical nutrition counseling practice where she specializes in weight management.
Maureen also works with groups in corporations big and small, delivering positive employee health and wellness strategies through dynamic presentations and hands-on classes.
Recognizing a commitment to holistic body health, Maureen has studied complimentary medicine at Harvard & Georgetown Medical Schools. She has also earned national teacher certification in Kundalini Yoga & Meditation. Maureen is a member of The American Dietetics Association, the Nutrition in Complimentary Care practice group and The National Restaurant Association.
